Remote CAD Drafter – Residential Construction & Design

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support residential new construction projects, with a focus on high-end and detail-driven design work. This role involves preparing comprehensive construction documents and design drawings used throughout the planning and building process.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and comfortable working remotely while collaborating with a design and construction team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare complete construction document sets for residential projects

Draft lighting layouts, plumbing plans, and related construction drawings

Produce elevations, risers, and detailed room elevation designs

Translate design direction, markups, and specifications into accurate CAD drawings

Assist with layout coordination and design consistency across drawing sets

Maintain clear, organized files and follow established drafting standards

Ensure accuracy, clarity, and precision in all deliverables

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience preparing residential construction documents

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines

Comfortable working in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with lighting and plumbing documentation

Familiarity with room elevation and interior detailing

Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

Experience with residential or custom home projects

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
