Software Engineer - ROR (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Drive projects end-to-end from problem statement to implementation taking ownership of business impact, technical quality, and operational excellence.
• Break down complex problems and design scalable solutions, create implementation and test plans, and execute them with the team on committed timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical initiatives that strengthen scalability, security, and maintainability of our systems.
• Contribute to defining and upholding engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Work on core company products such asJobspikr,42Signals,Datastock, delivering high-quality, production-grade code.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and AI tools that improve productivity and product quality.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• 2 -4 Years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience with theReact/Next.jsframework and languages such asRuby on Rails/Python.
• Exposure toAI tools and their practical adoptionin engineering workflows.
• Solid understanding ofrelational databases(e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) andRESTful API design.
• Strong experience in writingscalable, maintainable, and testable codewith an agile mindset.
• High-performance mindset with a focus on quality, ownership, and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills able to explain technical decisions, share best practices, and contribute to improving overall engineering quality.
