Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Odor Expert. The Odor Expert will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and categorizing various odors. Responsibilities include utilizing sensory evaluation techniques, providing recommendations for improving scent environments, and working in collaboration with research and development teams to create scent profiles. The role may also involve ensuring compliance with industry standards and conducting odor-related studies for product development.

Qualifications

• Strong sensory analysis skills to detect and identify a wide range of odors
• Experience with chemical analysis and understanding of odor compounds
• Knowledge of the processes behind scent creation, evaluation, and testing
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to document findings accurately
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration with teams
• Proven experience in a related field, such as fragrance development, food science, or environmental science
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Sensory Science, or related fields. Advanced degrees preferred
• Flexibility to work independently in a remote setting
