Build a Simple Lifestyle Website (WordPress – City Guides + Blog + Monetization)

I’m looking for an experienced WordPress website designer/developer to build a clean, modern lifestyle website for my brand ThirstyMoments.com. The site will focus on city guides (starting with Atlanta), lifestyle content, dating-adjacent topics, and monetization through affiliate links.

The site should be easy for me to update myself once it’s built.

Project Requirements

1. Platform

• WordPress preferred (open to suggestions if you recommend something better).
• Easy for a non-technical user to maintain.

2. Design / Theme

• You will recommend a lifestyle or magazine-style theme (Astra, Kadence, Soledad, Pixwell, etc.).
• Clean, mobile-friendly, fast-loading.
• Import a demo layout if needed.

3. Pages to Include

• Home (featured articles, city highlights)
• City Pages (starting with Atlanta; room for expansion to Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, Vegas)
• Blog (lifestyle, dating-adjacent content, things to do)
• About
• Contact

4. Functionality

• Social sharing buttons
• Contact form
• Space for future email list sign-up
• SEO plugin setup (RankMath or Yoast)
• Affiliate link management plugin (PrettyLinks or similar)
• Good site speed (use caching plugin)

5. Branding

• I have a domain already.
• I have or can create logo/header if needed
• Colors: simple, modern, lifestyle vibe.

6. Monetization Setup

• Create spots/placeholders for affiliate links (Amazon, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.).
• Make sure posts and pages can easily incorporate affiliate placements.

7. Deliverables

• Fully functional WordPress lifestyle website
• Installed theme + plugins
• Page structure set up
• At least one sample blog post/page so I can duplicate the format
• Basic tutorial or quick Loom video showing me how to edit content
